• General Requirements

  • Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time (we’ll provide new kitchen shoes if you don’t have them).

  • Must feel comfortable working in a fast paced kitchen environment

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.

  • Pastry and/or bakery background preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.

  • Must be able to think on your feet and be proactive.

  • Weekend availability is required.

• Available Position(s) + Details

  • Production Shift (Part-time, Friday to Sunday, 6am start time)

    • Confident in production of pastry creams, buttercreams and other basic recipes

    • Dipping + decorating donuts

    • Compensation: $17/hour (not including pooled credit card tips, averaging $2.00+ per hour)

      • Annual shoe stipend

  • Dishwasher (Saturday + Sunday, 9am to 12pm)

    • Keeping up with dishes in accordance with health and safety standards in an efficient manner

    • Keeping a clean and organized workspace

    • Compensation: $17/hour (not including pooled credit card tips, averaging $2.00+ per hour)

      • Annual shoe stipend

  • Maintaining cleanliness and observing department of health protocols

Social Media Manager (job listing in progress)

We are looking to hire a social media manager for both PVDONUTS and Oak Bakeshop.

You will be responsible for creating original text, photo, and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Requirements

• Manage Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook accounts

• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals

• Collaborate with other team members to produce content and ensure brand consistency across platforms

• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions

• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
